The community engagement from Satterley and the Anglican Diocese of Perth has been an utter disaster in regards to proposed North $toneville. From the get-go, their Structure Plan has not taken into account the wishes or the safety of the community. It has completely neglected the needs of the environment.

Communication with the Anglican Diocese has been consistently pushed to Satterley who have ploughed on regardless despite overwhelming community opposition. Community concerns have been dismissed multiple times. For these two organisations they face an almost unstoppable wave of community discontent. Their urbanisation plans are out-of-date and irrelevant in 2020.

Our beautiful city and its hills backyard deserves MUCH BETTER than a cookie cutter sales job by a developer!

No matter the Satterley spin, a bad idea is a BAD idea. The community here gets that. Here at SPH HQ, we are LOVING seeing the deputations roll in. We still need more though. Can you get your deputation statement added to the growing list?? Time is running out!

We aim to send written statements from this amazing community to the WAPC as part of their final judgement on this proposed structure plan. We are required to submit this off by Thursday 9th of July.

The hills is no place for cookie cutter urban estates!

Once it's gone, it's gone...

We ALL get this.

You can't bring back the bush the way it was.

Once the hilltops have been levelled, the forest cut down, the habitat of eagles, chuditch etc, cleared, the streams replaced with culverts and pipes, the roads set with bitumen and kerbs... there is no going back.

Worse than that, it sets a precedent for more of the same.

This is one fight we cannot lose.

This is NOT a drill... It's our once-in-a-generation chance to say, 'we can do better...'

Sending Save Perth Hills your written statement within the next 3 days is the action you can take.

You made your message clear to the Shire of Mundaring in 2019. Now, the WA Planning Commission (WAPC) needs to hear it too. The time to ACT is NOW.

If you are only able to contribute ONE THING to this fight, make it this! For those who have been worn down by process before, this time round is DIFFERENT. We are being heard, but we simply must demonstrate to the powers-that-be watching this issue that the community remains resolute. To the youth, we know you get it. The kids have stood up, written deputations, spoken in front of the community, painted banners and more... we invite them to do so again, here 👇

Once it's gone, it's gone....

Say NO to urban sprawl

Last year, Nigel Satterley was quoted as saying:

"The boundaries are set in my opinion. So, in the North up to Yanchep, Two Rocks. Then you go across to the foothills in the east up to Bullsbrook. So we’re saying that will be the boundaries most likely for the next 40-50 years."

What the heck, Nigel? Proposed North $toneville goes deeper into the hills than any other development of its nature. It is considerably further out than other urban developments none of which have the density suggested for SP34.

We need YOUR help! Can you dust off your last deputation on this issue to Save Perth Hills within the next 4 days? We want to send written statements from this amazing community to the WAPC as part of their final judgement on this proposed structure plan.
